In 2022, Faster, a rising food delivery app, launched its app in Saudi Arabia, in a market already saturated with over 20 food delivery apps. The challenge was clear: Faster had to find a unique positioning in a landscape where other players had already claimed the title of the “Fastest” food delivery app. Additionally, Faster struggled to attract and retain new customers, facing fierce competition: The initial temptation to lure customers with discounts was short-lived, as it didn’t establish a sustainable, long-term relationship with the customer base.

Solution

We crafted a new art direction and content strategy to resonate with Saudis for lasting connections with the brand. The pivotal move was to pivot the brand positioning from merely being the “Fastest” to “Faster Understands.” We emphasized the idea that Faster not only delivers food quickly but also comprehends your moods and cravings through social content.
